Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Messages From Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" icon on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon lies in the top left corner and also resembles two tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation containing the message or messages you want to remove. If it is not provided on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to view all of your exclusive messages. Click the conversation on that list including the message you intend to delete.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and then click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes situated alongside the messages you want to remove.
Click "Delete" and then click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you wish to delete the chosen messages.
Suggestion
To erase a whole discussion as opposed to private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third step.
Caution
Deleting an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not delete it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
